Big News

Take a guess.....
Most of you know already but I thought I would make it 'blog official'. I'm Pregnant!!! 12 weeks pregnant in fact and today I think I am finally feeling a little better.
Yes, I have an excuse for my sparse posts. For the past 6 weeks it has taken all of my energy just to get up in the morning, go to work, eat and go back to bed. I've spent a good portion of the past month in bed (or at least it feels that way).
The interesting part of the first trimester is that there are no overt signs that you are pregnant. Sore breasts, nausea and fatigue don't indicate much to those who don't know. I been longing for the belly without the nausea, fatigue etc. I've heard that comes for trimester two and then you are back to feeling crappy for the last 3 months. I'll have to savor the good while it lasts. I've actually been really lucky...I haven't been throwing up, I haven't had bad headaches, I haven't had major cramping. I've just felt like crap which, seems to be the norm (according to moms that I've spoken to).
Dave and I have our 13 week appointment next week with our midwife and we are very excited to see the ultrasound. The picture at 8 weeks looked like there was bean growing inside of me...which was a little dissapointing since we thought we were having a baby.
