Anna and I just got back from a week in Mexico with my family. It was so great to feel the sun, gaze up at the Palm trees and spend time with loved ones.

It was a very busy week. Anna decided not to sleep or eat much solid food...which made for some interesting days. I think that she was practicing being a 'bionic baby', she wanted to see how long she could stay awake and not eat...sounds like fun right? Rather, I think she was confused the entire time we were there! I could just see her wondering...Why is it sunny? Why is my mom taking me swimming twice a day? Where is my Dada? Why am I sleeping in the same bed as my mom? Despite her confusion and fatigue, I think that Anna really enjoyed herself. Since we have arrived home, she is thankfully sleeping and eating well.

I had a really nice time catching up with my family. I truly wish that we all lived closer.
