Canoe Trip

Anna experienced her first camping and canoe trip a few weekends ago. We went with James, Tory and Malloch to Diablo Lake. The weather was a little on the wet/cold side but we managed to have a great time. Anna had such a good time that she didn't want to sleep! We learned several valuable lessons:

1)Don't try to make a fire when the wind is blowing in several directions (unless you want to really smell like smoke)
2) Trying to squeeze three people into a 2 person tent is a a bad idea
3) Leaving the pack of baby wipes inside the tent while your toddler is 'falling asleep' will result in the removal of all wipes from the package followed by an artful display of a hundred wipes all over the tent.
