My friend Laura and I enjoyed a two day adventure of hiking at Mount Rainier. If any of you have the opportunity to explore this beautiful part of the west coast, take advantage because it is such a fabulous area. We were surprised at the quick trip (2 hours)which led us to a forest wonderland. We stayed at the Logmire Inn that is run by the National parks service which was very quaint and offered a lovely sitting porch to gaze at the mountain as the sun set. I am now inspired to go back in the winter for some cross country skiing. I will add a link to our pictures when I get them from Laura (thank goodness for her camera otherwise it would completely be up to everyone's imagination).
