I haven't had much going on this past week so unfortunately I don't have much to post. I have been focused on the arrival of my niece and nephew, obsessively checking my brother's blog to see if any new pictures have been posted. I've decided to go and visit them in Toronto on Easter weekend. If I don't visit now, I probably will not see them until they are many months old. I am a little apprehensive about flying but my midwife said that I am okay up until 36 weeks (I'll be 34). Plus, I'll be in good hands...my mom's a nurse and Dave and Teresa are docotors so if something goes wrong, I'm certain we can figure it out.
I've been working more days lately because I'm only there for 8 hours. This will decrease slightly after next week as my percentage will drop to 60. I am looking forward to this as I am getting pretty tired. I think it would be different if my job wasn't so physically demanding. I am now known for the pregnant waddle down the hallway of the unit. There are 5 other nurses who are pregnant right now but most of them are not as far along as myself. I see them watching me wondering..."Is that going to be how I look in a few months??".
Today is a Home Depot Sunday as we need to get some shelves for the baby's closet. I have all these wonderful gifts and nowhere to store them except for the floor of the nursery. I've decided on an aquatic theme for the walls. It may look a bit wierd because the walls are yellow but I don't really mind. I think I'm just going to stencil some animals onto the wall and they can pretend that they are swimming in blue water.
That is all for now....
