June with Anna

I bet you were getting tired of looking at that awful picture of Dave and I!!! Sorry that it has taken me a little while to re-post. We have been busy. Dave finished off his school year (yippie!). I finished my class (yippie!) and we are adjusting to our new ability to relax and enjoy precious time together. The following are a few pictures of our latest adventures. Anna is growing and discovering and growing some more. She currently has 9 teeth and another molar on the way. She is not walking and I think that it is unlikely that this will happen any time soon. She is however a very proficient crawler. We are enjoying her giggles and smiles and joyful way of approaching life.

Anna writing an e-mail.

Anna and I at the walk for the cure. This is her second year as a participant...she doesn't remember last year but that is okay.

Anna chillin' post walk with her birthday buddy Jillian (They were born on the same day...)

There is a funny story to this picture. Dave and I took Anna over to Magnolia to one of the few outdoor pools in the city. The swimming times are really short for some reason. We had a window between 3-430pm to take Anna swimming. We didn't leave our house until 3:45--thinking that Anna would only last a half an hour anyways. Well, we finally got there, I got Anna in her swim diaper and suit, she peed on the concrete and then the fire alarm went off. Don't ask me why a fire alarm would go off at a pool. But it did. Time check--4:10pm. We all leave the area and wait for the fire department. At 4:25pm the fire department clears the building and we are technically allowed to go back in for 5minutes as a private party is occupying the area from 4:30-5:30. So...this pictures is when we are waiting for the fire department to do their thing. Anna doesn't seem phased by the situation. We did not end up swimming but we went to the park. At least we tried!!!!!
