Sad Anna

If I were cruel, I would have taken a picture of my pathetic little Anna while she was doing what she has become very good at this week--crying. However, I didn't have it in me and quite frankly, this would have prolongued the crying which is hard enough to deal with anyways. Instead, you get to look at pathetic us....looking impressively tired.

Our little Anna had a little too much Birthday celebration and she has been miserable this week. A trip to the doctor left me with the piece of mind that she does not have an ear infection; unfortunately, this did not make Anna feel any better.

Nevertheless, it has been a week of no sleep and a lot of self talk. I have high hopes for tonight....she just woke up but maybe that means she will sleep at least a little bit longer...

oh shoot - give little anna some extra hugs and kisses from us, and also some for you too - having a sickie is so draining for everyone. it will feel so amazing for all of you when she is feeling better (we are going on our second week(!!) of no sickies in this house and it feels like a miracle!)hang in. xox

This too shall pass, and just think of all the anti-bodies she is building up for when she starts school in five years. I know this brings a whole new appreciation of your parents sleepless nights and why now they enjoy a holiday.

Give Anna a hug from us too. It will get better, hang in there.
