Despite popular opinion, I have not dropped off the face of the earth. Rather, I have spent a few days in a space that I like to call the dark place. It is not a very nice place to be and I would not reccomend it for a vacation spot or a destination to explore. It is on this earth but in this spot, one tumbles then trips, cries then bawls, shivers then shakes. I am happy to say that I have returned from my visit and I do not want to go back for a long time. Thankfully, my experience was shortened and softened due to the company of a few precious angels at my side. They wiped my tears as they flooded onto the floor. They wrapped clothes around me when I shook and then took caffeinated beverages away from me when it was entirely appropriate. Friends, I have returned to this place that we call life and I am excited to appreciate the colors and smells that our beautiful world affords us. Thank you for welcoming me back.
